Pretty damn good for a first build.

I think the PCI-E power cables would look better going down though.

Thanks,
I will try moving them and see what it looks like. I am also going to remove the optical drive and wrap the HDD and optical cage in white plexi, with back-lighting too.

Looking good mate, I agree with SPS about the pci-e cables though. What are the cable clips you're using, I've tried the combs and they suck, other than combs all I can find are the Cobra one in the US, from Frozen cpu.

looks great :) nice to see another c70, they really can eat lots of components.
ive noticed ya have changed the window :) and painted the grey accents on the front and the fan filter any reason you did not do the frame around the window or did ya prefere the fact it gave a nice border?

still love the build looking to do more to mine soon.

The accents in front are carbon fiber vinyl, I had them on the side too but for some reason one day just decided to pull them off.

Thanks by the way.

its ok, im hoping to find a broken 750d or 900d so i can use the front panel and make the from of my c70 have a nice brushed effect on the front with a gap for fans all around. and other goodies :)
i thought you just painted the parts like i did :)

BTW - you can buy the individual panels from corsair directly

I am actually going to move the system into either the 760T or 750D and do a watercooling loop for the CPU and NB/VRM's. I have enjoyed this case immensely but I want to have some more room as full watercooling in this case will make it rather tight inside.

Do you have some pics of your rig I could see?

Hi

Really awesome build. I love the cabling and the tidy look. I buy all my cabling things from Mike at Lutro0 Customs. They really have quality stuff and always ship fast. As much as I love the Obsidian series, I think that you have a bit more personality and style going with the rig you have. Nice touches of color all over the case.

i duno if they will sell a whole panel and i have a rig log somewhere cant find it so ill pop one here

Nice, am going to get rid of the optical bay and wrap the entire HDD and optical cage area in the white plexi, most likely today but we will see.

looks cool :D
as your not using the bays could you not remove them? if those are standard air flow fans, it will help blast more air down there.

I have SP's in front and the air series on the HDD cages. I actually like them there because the cold air coming from them is great for cooling the dual devil's. I was very surprised at how well this set-up works for cooling with the AF 140 in the bottom for intake the case has amazing airflow.

You just gave me an awesome idea, I think I will take out the cages and do a full plexi wrap round the area moved back about 30mm and mount the fans to the plexi and still have room behind for the SSD, HDD, fan hub and an LED light bar to light it all up. Now I am excited to do some more modding today. I will also see how it looks with the PCI_E cables coming from the bottom. I am taking the day off. It's good to be the boss. :)

awesome if you light it right the cuboid might even glow up a bit ;)
and let me know how you secure things as i know im gonna have similar issues
