as you guys might or might not know i won the nurburg rig comp ages ago, anyways when i won that comp my rig looked like this....

1 AND A BIT YEARS AGO!!!!!!

after i won the comp it looked like this cause i won some ram and that git massive cooler lol

so after that i got talking to TTL loads on msn, not joking either i think i talk to him everyday on there or something and have done for the past year n a bit.... a fair bit has happened on oc3d that i helped with after that and my biz started taking off so i had some spare cash which helped get me some new parts for my rig, anyways with help and advice from watching vids and talking to TTL on msn and facebook my rig turned into this

so i would just like to post this thread and say thanks TTL and OC3D for doing the vids and reviewing things for us peeps out there because people actually build pc's like this picture below and are happy with them like i was once... and with a little help and guidance you can have something to be proud of

its amazing what can happen in a year this year i was lucky enough to come 2nd in the christmas comp hopefully in the next week or so when aria should have added my voucher to my account ill be able to step up from socket 775 to the new age of IB

i cleaned it just for the pics lol it still is clean aswell to my surprise, trying to keep on top of it

thats a 1GB 460 lol which i have now sold.. i was using it to run the extra monitors cause i have 4 (look in the second last picture its gone)

Quick update on this my rig is now black and green so ive made my own fluid colour with a few dyes i have... it was blue as with the pics before i added uv green but that was a bit to bright for me, like nuclear waste tbh... so i decided to try and make black so i added blue and deep purple.. these pics dont really do it justice like but im redoing my rig with a new psu soon so will take better pics then...

also something i noticed the uv green kinda turned it into pastel where its not clear anymore

Its looks better when you turn the lights green

ok rig update ive got rid of the ocz psu managed to get hold of one of these bad boys with cables

ok so ive got these awesome braided cables now and when i take the back panel off they look awesome, but not so awesome next to the many red and yellow fan cables i have and front panel cables which a rainbow coloured just about, anyways ive bought some cloth braid and heat shrink and have been watching tutorials on how to get the ends off.... and iam going to give it a go when they come..

1 question though how would i do the USB3 front panel connector ?
