stop dust

hi.

got abit tired of high cpu temp today so i cleaned out the computer and changed the rear 120mm fan to blow air into the case instead.

also mounted a 120mm sidefan which also blows into the case and lowered temps considerbly.

cpu temp went down by over 15celsius and gfx idle temp by 4-5celsius but now i want some kind of dustprotection where the fans are.

any ideas what to use ?

must be hiflow as the fans turns rather slow.

thinking about mosquito net, 196 squares per 1square inch.

i know it wont catch all dusts but the majority and will be easy to clean with a vacumcleaner

Regards

The cheapest and coolest way to stop dust is just taking a Bounce drier sheet and rubber banding it over the top of your fan... it stops the dust and makes your computer smell great in the process!

clean your room a little more :P

didnt your mother teach you its not nice to swear ;)

for personal reasons i cant clean as often as i would want too and i have a cat which doesnt help :/

i dont care how it looks only how good it works, i am the only one seeing the computer and i NEVER carry it anywhere.

it weight in at over 20kg, or over 45kg with the monitors.

Fragtek im "guessing" you mean these, could be a possibility.

can get some cheap, is used to cover rustholes in carbodys, the holes are around 1x2mm

Yup thats the stuff mate!

The other stuff that you linked to will let an inordinant amount of dust through, it will also trap quite a bit. The bounce sheets work very very well.
