Starting Uni, Got Homework already!!

I have been accepted for a course at Sheffield University (BSc in IT and Organisations), and part of the course covers website development. I am hoping to get some advanced credits due to prior experience and knowledge, and have a few websites I can show as evidence. I have created a new one though, as some of my older sites are pretty outdated.

Now here's where you guys could help. I need people to register and try out the various functions available, to make sure I haven't ****ed up somewhere. If anyone feels obliging, I would be eternally grateful! The site is up and running, and I will be adding some more features before September. I would also love to hear your opinions on the design of the site too. The site will be online peramanently as of now.

Nice, looks great mate.

Next thing you should start looking at is PHP and MYSQL. They will certainly want you to create some sort of login system using SQL and PHP. We had to do this as standard. More advanced is encrypting the data and decrypting, a lot of work but worth it.

Get learning man.

It might be a little advanced but it's a good read, as are many of the tutorials on that site.

Thanks, I have done a few before so I am not too bad with Joomla. I live in Donny, so I know Sheffield pretty well. Good to hear the uni's a good un!

We will be covering wysiwyg editors, HTML coding, CMS packages, and CSS in level one, then moving on to server side scripting etc in level 2/3.
