Silverstone Ultra Slim SATA Cables

Why has this not been done sooner ?

These are going to look great in any case once the make them in a different color .

Those look like they could help a lot of people make tidier rigs, especially for MITX Builds.

I Agree, they would be much better in black

I don't like how they come out the side of the connector, and having two of them next to each other looks kind of tacky the way they put stress on each other. Cables this flexible and low profile should come out the top. And I would have rather seen one wire, or both wires attached to each other (like a speaker wire) than separate. They kind of want to go off on their own like this.

It was a great attempt at something that's badly needed, but falls very short.

Agreed.
Also I'd have like to have seen them used on a motherboard where the SATA ports are already at a 90º angle (thus already eliminating some of the issue with cable tidying) like the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming board. I imagine in this scenario they'd offer less benefits. Also those SATA connectors seem to be closer together, so would that affect being able to use multiple cables like this next to each other?
Also, how do they work when connecting to HDD/SSDs? Sometimes the power cable can be very close to the SATA cable (although probably on the wrong side to affect this).

Just purchased two of these from Scan. I was looking originally for a normal flat black SATA Cable and found a few but then I remembered about these, it's a shame they aren't in black, or white for my build but the idea is to put them behind the back of the motherboard anyway so you won't see them. Even if I can't put my two SSD's at the back then they'll be easy enough to hide.

Edit: I opened the two packets yesterday and for a second was worried when I saw just how short the cables are then I realised, I'm not routing them and putting them through the drive cages etc so I'll be okay, the other thing I was expecting was for these to just feel plasticky like normal SATA cables, they do feel a little "If I bend this, it's going to snap". I've not put them in my rig yet but overall they look good.
