According to AVG, the creators of the well known and regarded security products, the way web-bourne threats are developing is changing.

hmm the only way i can think is that they are "evolving" (its the law of nature afterall lol)their threats arent being so effective like they were some time ago.

*not that they still can't give people problems but they arent anyways*

also the companys who make security products are always updating they softwares so we could say that they are in the middle of a war, (reminds of the star wars project :rolleyes: and no, its not the starwars from luke and darthvader lol);
 
I still reckon AV companies create the malware themselves and then infect machines as an attempt to prove AV dependency

The ultimate reason to use a free antivirus, they will not benefit from such practices :p
 
bah but AVG and the like just arent up to the job

If you are getting one its gotta be something like nod32

But they all at the end of the day slow ur pc down

NOD32 doesn't slow your PC down...

I'm using McAfee and NOD32 together (with a few simple tricks) and my PC slows down only a bit like you would expect it to.
