Shooting

Having seen a few shooting/gun related threads, I thought I'd see what you guys are into...

So, what/where/when/why/how do you shoot?

I'm mainly 7.62mm fullbore target rifle between 300-1000 yards, a bit of clay pigeon and sometimes some .22 smallbore rifle too.

Just looked at Frag's Desert Eagle thread. Go I wish I lived in America sometimes :D

Hi Kempez, good to see some forum crossover. :)

Well i'm bit of a hunter myself, I had a bit of a break because I moved to a different region in Canada. While I was living in British Columbia, I would hunt whitetail, mule deer, grouse and moose. I used a .303 British to bag my first deer at age 11 (I'm now 16) and I also have a .22 for just shooting random gophers and such. I (my dad) sold the .410 shotgun that we had and it was great for hunting grouse. We owned a .22 pistol and also a 1911 Colt .45 at one point both of which we sold.

Welcome to OC3D mate!

Both NickS and myself here are shooters on the forum, both from America :)

I shoot high power and low power rifle, small and large caliber pistol competitively, and used to shoot sporting clays / trap competitively.

I'd like to do some hunting...I shoot almost entirely competitively, and almost always at targets. I've shot a few rabbits with friends' .22s - living in the centre of London isn't entirely convenient when you want to just walk outside and shoot stuff :(

To keep me sane I do airsoft at home, but I shan't tak anymore about that. Nowhere near a replacement for the real thing. :)
