I bought Shift second hand, damn EA won't let me go online. Not too much of a loss as the handling in Shift is dreadful, I'm not sure what it is, but my 360 controller is useless. Sliding everywhere, no grip, cars pivot on every corner.
Just getting into DiRT 2, I'm surprised by how much it's better than the original, great game! I'd be up for that or GRID sometime, not sure how easy it is to meet up online.

i think it feals like only the front half of a car is terning in to the corner still dousent stop me playing it or winning in races and with the 360 its a hell of a lot better and easy did have it on the ps3 i think its like to diffrent games comparing the ps3 version to pc or it might just be me haha and is eneyone racing now or am i to late ?

Just have to adapt as its a driving game and its not arcadey like grid ect is handling wise

Mmmm, my DFGT will be coming out for this week. The thing I don't get is that it's not a sim, nor is it arcade, I find the handling to be some sort of awful middle ground, I'll give it more time though. I like my sims though, Race07 probably being the fave atm.

I still use the keyboard but I split the keys so its like a wide control pad.

I'd join but I can't log into the online as it says the CD-KEY is already in use - I bought it second hand. Do you reckon there's any way to use it or is this EA being difficult? I can contact the first owner if needs be.

As far as I know, that's a dead end, as there's no way to unregister it right? I highly doubt EA will do it for me.

Most likely, maybe a cheap copy from play.com or amazon? I don't know the prices.
I have also realised that when everyone is driving the same car I seem to be a lot faster, maybe because they don't have the advantage of their favourite car, but all the same, I've won a lot of races pretty easily lately in Manufacturer type races.
