Set CPU in Bios to Auto

Well with that you got you are only 7C from safety. Slap on an H40, H60, H80, and so on you can drop 5C+ or more. That will increase your overclock headroom and also give you a longer lifespan for your Processor. That is what water cooling isn't a waste of time.

H40 and the rest of H series ARE NOT WATERCOOLING and besides only the H100 can come close to the noctua coolers.

You mean they are not a dedicated water cooling loop. But you obviously know they are water coolers. There is no point to try an argue. The H40, H60, H80, and H100 are all water coolers. The biggest difference between H40 and the rest are is it uses a aluminum base and not copper.

D-14 overkill , Who the hell want's that gut thing in their rig ? , UP12 SE2 does the job and room to work in case .

I got my NH-D14 for £60 and its just brilliant. As other have said, H100 offers similar performance but at around £100 when released, it was expensive for me so I got the D14. Its quiet and cools great. Never a overkill :)

A lot of coolers can perform near to the standards of the 'D14, but they all require small hurricanes to do so.
The Noctua can do it in near silence.
I have my NH-D14 set to 5v, and my 4.5GHz 3770k never gets above 77*C whilst folding 24/7 - and that's in the nice weather that the UK has been getting of late.

See I just don't get the point , if I can run the smaller Noctua with one fan on low revs 100% cpu at 60c all cores why do people bother with D-14 or water cooling ?

Suppose if your into crazy overclocks , but not worth the bother 24/7 to run any games or software as 4 is all you need to run anything .

What specs are you running?

2600k at 4.4
NH-UP12 se2 with one nf-f12 pwm fan
Define R3 two noctua p12 in the front set to low , p14 in the roof ultra low , sb12 in the back ultra low

Seriously, a single fan up12 keeps your cpu at 60 degrees @4.4ghz?

My 3770k is around 75-80 under load with my D14 at 4.5ghz...
That's with dual fans too

Ivy runs cooler up till about 4.5/4.6ghz - at which point Sandy starts to win on temps.
Ivy is better at the clock speeds you're likely to be running at anyway, so it isnt really a problem.
Can you prove 60 degree 4.4ghz? Do you have screenshots?
