Sending something to the states ?

Sending a friend in the states my AE-5 soundcard as I have no use for it but worried the paranoid US customs will rip the package apart and the confiscate it thinking "That there aint from murica it be a bomb".


Anyone had experience with sending stuff to the US ?

Yeah. Just put computer parts.

They can tell the difference without opening it dude lol.

I sent some replacement ear cups for a Beyerdynamic 770 a while back and US customs literally tore the box to pieces and cut up one of the ear cups, A little insane IMO.

Did you fill out the declaration form?

The only thing I ever had sent to me that didn't arrive was 10x packs of tobacco.

I sent it via the post office, All the lady at the counter asked was "what's inside, I said "headphone ear cups" and that was it really.

Ive never had issues sending to states. They were quite delicate in cutting the package open.
