Screen Backlight Flicker?

I just got my Hyundai 19" WS about 2 weeks ago and i have noticed lately that it keeps getting bright and darker. It will be pretty bright then just flicker and get a little darker and it seems to be doing it a lot more these days. Anybody have any ideas?

RMA it, sounds like the cold cathode may be faulty.

will they take it cause it doesnt flicker all the time but it goes iton steaks that it does. Also, should i rma it to newegg or hyundai?

You would RMA it to Hyundai not newegg. They might take it, worth a shot.

It's new enough to RMA to Newegg, it will be faster through Newegg than Hyundai so give them a shot first. If they won't let you RMA it, then do it through Hyundai.

Sounds like a good plan to me and if they do i might get a monitor that has no dead pixels =]

Yeah and more than likely that will happen. Dead pixels are pretty darn rare on those tbh, can't even believe ur having probs with the backlight either.

Sounds like u might just have a lemon, time to get a good'n!

Don't RMA it then, return it for a refund/credit and then buy it again

Well thats what im going to do but now im not sure if i should go with the same one i have of another one that is the same price or cheaper.
