SATA II and P5K Premium HELP

Plan to run 2 x 500gb Seagate Barracuda SATA II hard drives in Raid 1 (mirrored format)

Is this compatible with this Mobo?

I only ask because I remember hearing problems in the past couldn't remember if it was the P5k Premium or not???

Built it my self with parts ordered from komplett, scan and dabs. Worked out at pretty good value IMO, the one thing I would've changed is the motherboard though, the P5KC isn't great at over clocking. (and also has no raid capabilities)

Its a common problem with this Specific Asus board, as his older/younger brothers the P5K deluxe and P5K-E dont have these problems.

However newer Firmware "claims" this problem is fixed, however the most problems are reported by Samsung Users, and seagates are mostlikely gonna work, I would say give it a shot.
