Hey Guys i have a question to ask you about these 2 cards 1070 & 1080 GTX both seems to be great cards. I would like your opinion on which one to choose to my up coming build.

The real question is will the 1070 be sufficient enough to livestream games without any hiccups or should (future proof) and pay the price and go for the premium card which is 1080?

I read many articles on internet and checked some benchmarks about 1070 and it says its faster then Titan X about 5 to 10% increase in performance, in some games its equal to Titan X. Since i dont know anyone whos got 1070 i cant ask them how well does this card handle streaming. So i came here looking for someones help.

I currently run 2x 1080p monitors but i plan to upgrade 1 of them to 144hz.

Thank you for your time/help and every comment is appreciated.

1070 will be more than adequate for your needs. To put it all in n perspective, I have played GTA V on maximum settings for my system, I can easily stream at the same time using my 970. That's playing at 1440 and streaming at 1080, that's with an i5 4670K @4.5GHz.

Depending on what software you plan to stream with, it can make a huge difference in performance of the stream.

Depending on game, generally I stream at 1080, use NVENC (Nvidia encoding) in OBS (Or direct using Nvidia share through Geforce experience). I stream at 60fps with a bitrate of between 3500 and 4500 kbps, I'm fortunate to have a 20Mb upload on my line so plenty of bandwidth available.
