sapphire VERY LOUD whining noise

been running my 4870x2 for almost 5 years now.. no whine in it either.. even maxed out at 778mhz GPU (lol) and 980 Memory

Just thought I would share

I love that Graphics card. by far my favourite.

As for coil whine. You could always change the cooler? after market one.

Im now getting this coil whine through my speakers if i turn them to max i can hear the coil whine DOWNSTAIRS! anyway i can stop this just got a Asus Rampage Formula and i know the sound section is isolated from the rest of the board will this sort out the problem?

I partially solved this by moving my sund cables away from the pc case as much as possible anything else i can do?

Wrap your rig in a towel to dampen the noise

Seriously though, don't think there is anything else you can do.
