Saitek Eclipse Setup

Is there a way to get my USB connected Saitek Eclipse keyboard to activate immediately after PC power up/POST? At the mo it doesn't respond until the OS has booted, so I can't use the DEL key to get into the CMOS setup.

Is using a USB to PS2 adapter the only way?

TIA

Use an old keyboard to enter the BIOS and then change the option in there which will say something like:

USB Keyboard: OS

to

USB Keyboard: BIOS

Cheers XMS,

Sounds easy enough. Don't ever remember seeing a setting like that in the BIOS and I've spent a lot of time o/c'ing in there, so I thought I'd ask here first. But there again it isn't something I've specifically looked for before. I'll post back.

Yea, mine was in a weird place, and I actually needed to change it to install windows. It didn't recognize me hitting F6 to install SATA drivers. I think mine was in chipset options. Just browse around basically all mobo's have the option.
