Resolution Issues for GTX 590

Hi guys

I noticed today that I have a few 30" monitors in my office and home, I was wondering, If i was to play a game at 5760x1080 on these monitors which are 7680x1600, will it be similarly as taxing on my GPU? I will be purchasing a 4GB GTX 680 and was thinking of pairing it with my 3x30" monitors

i wouldn't think there is enough horsepower for that res support both in VRAM
or speed.
Tom's review of the ASUS 1440 really squeezed the GPU(s) hard. and he led to
similar res soulutions.. but on TVs the pixel density is quite "looser" than PC
monitors. i still think it'd be a nightmare to game on.. and through HDMI could
be a headache to support...

So basically, if its not running at the full resolution it will still have an effect?

Plus Toms review gave me the idea due to the sleeping dogs benchmark @ 1080p compared t o 1440.

Remember I WILL NOT be gaming at 7680x1600, i will be play at maximum of 5760x1080.

If you want to game @ 5760x1080 on your 30 inchers then be prepared for significantly more input and processing lag due to your displays having to downscale from their native res.
