Remove Program Manually?

Hey all,

I recently installed Spamfighter on my Vista 64 which is using Office 2007 Outlook as the default mail client. Now the installation became corrupt and now I can reinstall it or uninstall it.

I have tried deleting the files and removing everything I can see but I still get the following error when opening Outlook:

Now this isnt such a problem because I just click ok but its a bit of a pain seeing it everytime I open Outlook (I like things to run perfect :p )

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to totally remove a program manually or a piece of software that could do it for me?

Thanks, Sam

There are probably several solutions to that problem:

Outlook seems like it is trying to load the add-in for that program. Obviously, Outlook cannot load an add-on for a program that does not exist. I *think* the quickest solution would be to disable to add-in(s) that correspond to the error(s).

If you cannot cope with the existence of a spirious add-in then you may want to remove the add-in(s) altogether.

Hopefully, the aforementioned error is the extent of your uninstall induced problems. Again, there are several "solutions" to this problem and I suggested this solution solely because it seemed like the quickest to perform and easiest to explain.

No sign of Spamfighter.

Do you think a reinstall of Outlook might help?

I would just fire up regedit, and find the entry corrosponding to the file in the error, and make a backup then delete the key/value
