Recycled System

Ok so I have decided that I ought to use some of th water stuff I already have on my next rig despite how ugly it is. I have a heater core radiator I bought a while back from dangerden with some panaflo's on it... haha check the dust my system had before it died.. and no the cpu is fine.. i put it in my laptop and it works

haha wow...

so i was planning on recycling the system i was using because i loved the performance of the heater core... its ugly but it works very well...

and i want to throw a chiller into the setup later when i get waterblocks for the video cards so i can keep one loops with good performance...

haha i took the cpu out and put it in my laptop... it still works.. cpu was still running fine... something else went bad in the rig... i think the hard drive i took out of my carputer and put in it murdered it... i started having mad freezeups and CRC errors on the new drive for the first two day and after the 3rd freeze the rig never booted up again

haha thats probably 8 months or so... 24/7 mostly... and i live in las vegas and in a part of the town with open desert across the road from me... so its dusty... i just wish i had taken a picture of the stuff as i took it off... it redefines dust bunny as it literally resembled an animals fur rather than dust

How long have you been running that core in your system bud ?

the 3400+???? i got it february 05... watercooled it around july... but since the last fan swap... its been only like 8 months or so because i had some ys tech fans... then some delta 220 cfms.. then got tired of wearing headphones so got some panaflo mediums... yea 8 months maybe... i was shocked to see it... that explains why my rig was getting increasingly unstable and i had to downclock it close to stock... that is an exponential loss in cooling efficiency...from now on i will maintenance my rad monthly because that

was literally like fur.. very hard to remove...

haha ok guys... i said it was tough, but not impossible... and leaf blower woulndt work... it was like living dust that had grown and intertwined itself
