Well basically can you do more on Linux, I know a lot of other processing applications can get a lot more work done on a Linux platform.

Dose F@H on Linux process faster?

Is is stable?

Finally is it worth setting up?

To give you a short answer, YES !

much better in regards to PPD and IIRC also more stable, as you mentioned...

If wasn't a such a linux n00b i would of set it up already...

The PPD and stabilty used to be better on Linux but tbh it's pretty even now. If you prefer Linux, it's handy to be able to Fold on it but if you use Windows (or Mac OS) they're just as easy (or easier).

Linux had -BigAdv, have they removed it?

GPU2 works under Wine from what I've read though I've not tried it myself.

EDIT: Well I'll be damned... http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=16031
