I'm looking for a fun exciting game to play. I am a Action Quake 2 veteran and I'm looking for a comparable game. I've been out of the game scene for quite some time so I'm looking for suggestions. I can't afford to run out and buy every game suggested therefore I'm going to rely on your descriptions (hopefully you guys will give vivid descriptions).

I currently own HL2.

BF-2 is an excellent Multi-plater strategy game where you have to work together with your team to win strategic points and then defend them.

You can use a multitude of vehicles in the process (Tank, Jeep, Jets, Choppers, Boats etc) and these are pretty awesome to use.

You play as one of a class of soldier such as medic, special forces, engineer, support etc and each soldier has to help the others by using their class as an advantage (medic heal people for example). The battlefields can be huge and up to 64 player.

One of the players is the commander who will plan each teams mission and co-ordinate artillary and teams to win. Each team has a leader who passes on the orders for his troups as well as request ammo drops, UAV support etc.

Basically its a great game and pretty awesome to play - especially if your team really uses the voice commands to co-ordinate attack/defense

even call of duty is an excellent multiplayer, but you need united offensive to have tanks and jeep and even artillery attack when you gain a high rank

CoD is a cool arse game but I think BF2 roxorz it to the next level when it comes to straight strategic 1337ness.

With a bit of practice, I cld land a MEC plane on the USA boat, blow up their shit, and fly the FK out of there with the same plane, as long as they didnt blow it up .
