Oh i've always loved that drive and i think i'm just destined never to own it.

For months i've been after it and everywhere is either out of stock or discontinued i actually forgot all about it until i saw it again here.

saying that XMS with your close ties with tekheads get them to get a few back and reserve me one :P

The DVR-A11XL that I linked you to is the exact same one I have. The 'B' in the name simply denotes that it has a black faceplate. If you can't find one lemme know and I'd be happy to get you one and ship it on. The shipping from here to the UK is really quite competitive and you have the benefit of the stronger exchange rate which makes the purchase even less painful :p.

To all others who've left feedback on the revamp, thank you. I think AquAus looks heaps better even after a simple move to a new case.

I may have a word with Pioneer and see what they say. Its a big shame that it's not SATA - maybe they'll release an SATA model soon..

where does the T socket connect to? I see it's coming from the GPU to the pump, but the upper part looks like it goes into the 5.25 bay. anything it's connected to?

Can't believe I didn't take a proper look at PVs rig!!! (Or I forgot to post :eh:)

Anyway, stunning rig PV - I really like it as everything is so organised in there and black and green looks awesome imo :)

Must look nice in the dark - I demand a night shot

Nope it's not connected to anything mate, it only has a 1/2" ID stopper on the end. All it's used for is bleeding air from your loop and topping up fluid levels. Ideally the 'T' should be placed at or near the highest point in your loop, but I find before the pump inlet works fine for me.

Thanks jiffz, glad you like it :) I'll get a night shot up shortly for you...

I forgot about the night shot for you Jiffz, so I added a couple. Plus added my EK res, EK NB block and changed pump.

Looking good Pvs. Is that DDC enough too push a loop like that properly then?

Also what UV lights did you use? They're like proper black lights, makes everything glow without emitting visible light themselves

Hi Ham yeah the DDC seems to be handling it no trouble at all. I was really hesitant about the adding the chipset block, but no probs at all so far and the temps are all really good.

Re my UV's: I intentionally went with the smaller 10cm black lights as they don't light up the case as much as the larger versions, and there are only two of them in there. It defeats the purpose of UV when you get too much light bleed.

I love the gfx card waterblock :)

Good job!
Thanks ali_james, glad you like it

Thanks Mullet. I just finished spraying my other remaining fan grills today too, so unless something else interesting comes along the project is about done.:)
