PSU for new rig

Hey everyone, i'm building a new gaming rig and can't decide what PSU to get.

Here are the parts i'm going to get:

Asus Maximus IV Extreme

Intel i5 2500k

Asus 460GTX 1G X2(SLI mode)

Corsair 2GB DDR3 1600MHz CL8 X2

WD 750GB Sata 3

Cooler master V8

HAF X

I'll Upgrade the RAM in the future and get an SSD drive too, kinda on a budget now.

i'm going to do some extreme overclocking on this rig so i'll need enough power to feed all this parts.

i'm thinking about any one of these PSUs cuz they got realy good reviews here.

Considering that the graphic card alone pulls roughly 250w at full load and you are also wanting to do some overclocking i would suggest either the 750w or the 850w. However for me i would get the 850w mainly because for me i like to make sure every bit of hardware is getting everything they need power wise plus depending on the overclocking your doing it will pull a bit more power then usual.

firstly change that coolermaster v8 to a noctua nh d14 or a thermalright silver arrow, you will get much better temps and it will be a hell of alot quieter,

secondly go for the best single graphics card you can afford an sli later on, maybe a msi twin frozer 2 570? 2 460s in my experience arent particuly the best for big screen gaming. go for a bigger single card

as for psus I have the corsair 850x and its wonderful. ive got a very heavily overclocked msi 580 lightning and another asus 580 plus a rampage 3 extreme with a 950 all overclocked 4ghz and beyond and yet it has not failed me at all

thirdly that ram, have looked at what mushkin have to offer? if your going to do exteme overclocking then you need decent ram.

tnx for the quick reply everyone.

As for the motherboard, i'll stick with the asus cuz it has very good overclocking features.

As for the RAM, never heard of Mushkin, how are they compared to Corsair.

And finally the GPU, i want the 460 GTX cuz i'm on a budget and i've seen some review showing the 2 of them are almost as good as one 580, i was planning on getting one card now and another one in a few months when i'll have the money.

uh was the guy drunk when he did that review? the 580 will absolutley destroy 2 460s,

oh and if your doing extreme overclocking you will want the msi gtx 460 hawks, I have a pair of em and there made for overclocking aswell

if your focused on sliing the 460s that your choice, however you will get better performance from a 580 or a 570(Overclocked) then sliing them.

for the ram you want the mushkin redline ridgeback.

i wanted the 460 only cuz of that review i sew, i don't mind getting one card if it means batter performance and OC, only problem is the price, i need a decent card for around 300-350$

and i can't find a mushkin ridgeback, only the frostbyte.

OK so i've just been told that the 750/850W models aren't available here, only the 650W and 1000W(and this one is way above my budget)

How about this one

any other suggestions to a good PSU, 750W or above, i've been told that the 650W one will be good enough for me but i alway like having some space to breath and a few exes W will give me upgrading options in the future.

and how's the 560 card?
