Hi peeps!

This will be my 1st project log that i am attempting, so please bear with me!

The build i'm attempting isn't going to involve any modifications at all, i'm just going for a really clean look that alot of thought has gone into, from my parts list and colour scheme etc.

The build is based around the white Enthoo Primo (which hasn't been released yet). The specification of the build is as follows:

CPU: Intel i7 4930k
Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
Memory: 32Gb Quad Channel DDR3 2666Mhz Geil Potenza - White
CPU Block: XSPC Raystorm - White
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX780 x2 with XSPC waterblocks
SSD: Corsair Neutron 60gbx2 in Raid 0
HD: Western Digital 2Tb
PSU: Corsair AXi860
Pump: Alphacool D5 VPP655
Res: Monsoon M2 D5 Bay/Res
Fittings: Monsoon - White
Radiators: XSPC AX480 and x2 XSPC AX240 - White

That's all folks! Have a good weekend!

mhmmmmm, i love white builds!
i know its a very brave move, but considered spraying your motherboard?

To be honest i haven't, but as it's all black i'm hoping to make more of a feature of it, it is a RIVE BE after all ;)

Having said that i have thought about putting lighting under it to make it stand out more, what do you guys think?

You have a nice build there, I do the like the RIVE BE.

One problem you may run into is your RAM, 32gb @2666mhz could be too much for the IMC (integrated memory controller) on your CPU. You may have to run it @2133mhz or 1866mhz to get 32gb to boot.

I kinda knew that i'd never get them to run at the rated speed, but I'm not overly fussed by it, i'll try and push it as much as i can though!

I do need some advice on fans though, its the one part of my build I'm still deciding on! I need some quiet but decent performing fans that stick to the colour scheme.... any suggestions?

You do have the option of using just 16gb of ram if you need the speed, my 4930k and 3930k for that matter both top out at about 2600mhz, you may have a really good 4930k that can reach 2666mhz. No two CPUs are the same when it comes to the IMC and speed.

As to fans, have you thought about getting some Corsair ones.

The ones I have used here have interchangeable rings that come in Blue, Red or White.

Corsair make several different versions, some are high performance and some are quiet.

Yea i had considered those fans, i have 5 of them at the moment, i was thinking about these...

Noiseblocker NB-eLoop

16.9dB.... i figured these in push pull on the 480m rad and one on the 240mm would provide ample cooling and be near on silent? it seems looking at fans is all i've done today, even at work lol!!!

The ones in your link do look nice.

These are Noiseblocker fans used in the same build as above

They seem well made and look nice

For your build I would try using just push on the rads, if this is not enough then you can add more later for push/pull. I have found in the past that the difference between push and push/pull is only a couple of degrees.

Thanks for that advice.....i will try that, with the money saved i could get a new SSD :D

Another delivery, i've waited so long for the stock of these to come in, the AX240 in white is hard to come by! Anyway a little update for now! Yet another delivery from OcUK tomorrow! :D

Enjoy the pictures.....
