Project: White Destroyer

Sleeving wasn't part of my first idea, and in my point of view, I am proud of this, sleeving is a small detail. and Dude, this is not a half arsed job! Why are you guys always complaining about a small detail that's almost not visible on pics, why not say hey nice work, no, you have to pick on the small "mistakes" details I made, pff

Update

This mod/build is made possible by

So here is a small update.

So all the panels are sawed in their rectangular pieces, now I only need to kut the right holes and the fan cut out in some panels. Some holes are done, not all, didn't have the time today, because of editing video's.

all the panels, (also leftovers from the sawing) one panel from caseking is unused, but it's for safety, you never know if something gets broken.
(Left top corner are the res panels)

This is the hole for the powerbutton, the rest is a mystery.... (you can guess what that panel is for and what i'm going to do with it)

Because of the bars in the right corner (forgot to remove them) the mid plate of the 800D isn't totally flush, so I'm using the dark red acrylic for raising everything up so the res can sit flush on top of the dark red panels. The uv red acrylic is the bottom of the cage for the ssd's and the pump. And I'm probably going to try mounting the NZXT Pcb's in there too.

Sun is shining.

I also removed the black sleeving from the NZXT led kits and sleeved them in there led colours. So red sleeving is the red led strip and white is the white led strip :)

You can see a little bit of wiring, but since the wires are red and black, it perfectly fits the colours of the case.

The pci brackets are also painted, but they are still drying, so I didn't yet make a picture.

So that's it for this update, gotta find some glue now, see you the next one!

There is absolutely no point in sleeving if you plan to have the wire poking through. You are just making excuses because of the shoddy job you did, I'm not being funny I'm telling the truth. Sleeving wires means that you dont want blue, black, green, red etc in your system, you want it looking neat and tidy!

Is it not my system, so is it not up to me what I like and what I want. I really don't mind it at all, and no it's not an excuse. You do with your builds what you want I do with mine what I want.
I really don't understand what your problem is, I'm not doing this for you, or am I?

You are really pissing me off.

Wrong question.

Are you getting the point of modding, sleeving is just a tiny little piece of it, wait till it's finished then you ' ll see that I get the point.

Isn't it the point to change your case and what's in it to your wishes, and not to wishes of somebody else.

Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. It's for guys like you I will stay on this forum.

@Pexon: Did I ever say the mod was finished, who said that I wasn't going to sleeve it again or do a double sleeve. It's just , for now it's good.

I agree with Pexon...

If you're posting it on a public forum, everyone's allowed to share their opinions, whether it's good or bad.

If you didn't care about other's opinions, you wouldn't be posting it online. And you can't expect everyone to adore your work.

Considering it requires quite a lot of effort to sleeve, I personally wouldn't be happy unless it was perfect.
So if you have plans to double sleeve or re-do it then I certainly wouldn't be posting the poorly sleeved version online...

If you say, it isn't good, then it's fine with me, if you say, " ahh maybe you can do it better", I don't mind, I will listen, if you give me advice or so, I'll consider it. But what Pexon did, is just break me down in to pieces, which is harrassing.

And why wouldn't I post pictures of the not so good sleeved cables, isn't it the meaning of this thread for letting see where I stand with the mod from update to update. I did it then quickly so, that's what I did, so I putt it into an update with other stuff. If I painted something bad I putt it in to but I will also redo it one day and putt it into an update too.

And why would I even want that you guys adore my work, it's not that it's going to be your pc. And what Pexon did, is from minute one tearing me apart and complain about one thing I did, in this entire mod, while there are also some nice things (I think so) I did, as the paintjob. The only thing he sees in people are their flaws.
And he could have, in the first place, just given me a tip of how to do the inside sleeving of the pump, cause I don't really know how the get it open. And cause he did it in his EVO mod which I saw, the sleeving was impressive, so since he is the "Supermodder", he had just to give me a tip.

So @jamesriley94 (from line 4): thanks for the tip, for now it's good enough for me, but I might consider it to redo it, after the rest is done, which is also a lot of work.

And chillax guys, this is my "third" , actually my first real "die hard" mod, so give me a little slack, i'm still learning.
