Barry when this is done by the looks of it we may need a front page article ;)

Wow, thanks Kempez...

Just warning you that there won't be a proper update for a week or two (I'm off on half-term being only 15..:worship: ) but I'm hoping my nice package from Feser 1 will be here soon.. :wavey:

Update!

My other package! This one is courtesey of Adrian from www.specialtech.co.uk

Full of lovely AC Ryan bits!

Did someone say RadGrillz?

In Black? Yep! These are aluminium as opposed to stainless steel for the silver ones. These should polish up a treat!

10cm and 20cm UV CCFl's. As you know, 30cm's won't fit due to the small dimensions!

3x120mm ACRyan Blue LED fans...

A whole bunch of UV green sleeving and molex's ect.

And some quick mocups! More tommorrow!

And Mario from Feser 1

Update 5! Fans and Grills!

So today, i started by drilling the holes to a larger diameter on my Rad Grillz. I went to 5mm for the mounting holes, and 4mm for the the fan mounts..

I laser cut the holes for the fan and the grill, aswell as some for a Bulgin switch and USB's, FireWire and audio sockets, but I somewhat mucked them up :sigh: But thats not too bad... I'll redo all the panels when the entire project has been done so that they are imaculate...:dremel:

When its dark, there is a cool glow through the rad... Also, these fans move alot of air, and are a little to loud for my liking... The are 'quiet' but not silent.. So, i think i'm gonna have to buy/make a rehostat :dremel:

Looking forward to seeing the mobo installed, I'm still having a hard time believing that everything will fit.

looking great so far, I'd vote for putting this on the front page

Looking really accurate and accomplished - have you done something like this before? The craftsmanship displayed bodes well for both the end result herien and in future projects - Excellent work.

Nah, not really... This is only the 3rd computer I've ever built... 1st one broke quickly and was promptly replaced with my first real project...: http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=7973

I'm sure you'll all like tommorrows update :worship:

Well, Guys, I've decided to slightly re-design the case...

I'm gonna keep the same appearance, but make the case 'longer' so that it takes an ATX mobo instead of mATX.. It also means that I can use full-sized DVD drives ect. Main reason being, that the AMD fan-boy inside has spied the Asus M3A32-MVP :D

I had hoped to give you a big ass update, but at the last moment, revision two of the resevior went in spectacualr fashion. I was only using 5mm acrylic instead of the 8mm Im STILL WAITING FOR! but an entire panel cracked and then basically fell off...

Mind you, it was under very high pressure... This thing could withstang a DD-D5 on max going straight into it with no problems after 48h...

Shame about the acrylic there mate - guess you will have to wait until the 8mm arrives then or are you gonna try again with 5mm? The new Asus mobo looks good - although I aren't too sure on those memory coolers - they seem to forget that most high performance ram has their own coolers anyway lol - I like the MSI variant the best I think.
