Project Switch Blade

Looks lovely, really like the NZXT led's. Have a few questions on the watercooling as not done any myself before. The fans on the 240 at the bottom are pushing/pulling into the case? Do you also have a fan in the front in front of the removable cage? Then I'm assuming the top fans push/pull through the 360 rad and out of your case, and the back fan is also exhausting? Probably a stupid question but need it confirming for me

Sorry if its already mentioned in the thread.

Thanks Guys. I just noticed something weird lol. When I took the pic with the NZXT Led Lights turned on the Bitfenix led fans took on a brighter look I did not turn them up for the lighted pics. they just grew in intensity lol. Just an optical illusion I guess. As they dont dim or brighten with the NZXT led cable lol. Must be the NZXT's light bouncing off them making them look brighter

I really like the looks of the white tubing in there. Since i wasnt able to get the Mayhe's BlueBerry Pastel fluid. I think its a decent alternative also can ya tell whats off in those pics?? its not world ending but I see it.

Is it the top optical bay? That's the only thing I can notice that is slightly off.

bottom rad (280 actually) is yes push/pull into case. I have fans in the front of the 3.5 bay on both sides. intaking. The top 420mm rad is in push/pull out of case. And the rear fan is exhausting once I find a decent 140mm fan filter i may change the rear to intake as well. Plus I'd like to eventually replace the NZXT fans for the Bitfenix Spectre pros like I have on the bottom. I won those 4 in a Bitfenix Facebook contest last year. Great fans imho. But I need 8 more and at 17$ a pop its not a priority atm.

what do ya see with the optical bay?? I still use one as I havent found a decent external one yet.

Looks good, i think the lightning spoils it a little, it would have look epic without the light.

yeah ya either love it or hate it lol I like how it shines on my desk I can turn off house lights and still game easily lol.

The mechanism to lock a drive/anything that fits is further back, or is that only because you haven't locked it?2

lol nope thats how the case is made mate. Thats the stealth drive so it has to sit back a tad further than the others. I'll give a hint its in the water cooling loop somewhere and cant bee seen in the led litup pics.

. Is it the "C" shaped tube, which looks like its coming out then immediately going back into the res?

that is a bit of a disappointment but nope it has to be like that or it'll kink. I will say this. The new tubing made it alot shorter than it was before (with dual loop) lol. When I rma my mobo or replace it which ever comes first (lan port died on me) (but dont want to be without it for the rma time length) so I'm looking at Z77 boards I'll cut out the top of the optical bay and put some 90's in and that will make that tube disappear. reason its like that is it has to go around and over the metal top of the bays. Now look lower and to the left some and ya might spot it

I'm still here and watching!

surprising part is the top gpu (water first and copper one is 1-3c warmer than the other one lol and as i typed this they changed positions lmao the top is now 2c cooler wait now there the same temp lol damn ac playing with my head when I'm tired. It dont really matter much in all honesty its the load temps satya at or under 50c that impress's me plus the lack of fan noise now damn them AMD fans can scream when ur gaming and there at 70c

Your cable management (in the front, at least) and tubing are VERY good. I'd like to see a shot of her all lit up with the side panel on to see what it would look like.

getting there I'm gonna RMA my mobo soon (lan port died) so it'll all be coming apart again lol. Looking at just getting another board and selling the rma when it gets back but my budget isnt what it was before. But will deffo get more pics when its finally completed.

Wow, that white tubing looks SO much better! Very nice work there.

Thanks yeah I was getting so tired of the discolored tubing when using the clear. This white I think really sets it out.

I am so jelly right now :L

purely awesome rig

thank you I'm really enjoying it again. Just need to get the last few tweaks done and button it up for awhile and game my arse off.

Funny how stuff always gets in the way of a build. Either it's a hardware issue, or a real life issue that keeps you from completing it when you really want it done. At least, that's what always happens to me. What kind of board are you thinking about grabbing? I love my Asrock board.
