hey guys , i decided to share my builds and mods, so i'll start with my new one that i curently use. It's my Sig Rig an X58 based platform, and i was using a CM 690II advanced to home this baby. So i decided to make some cool bench station so i can swap parts easy and cool, since most of my days were going on by testing Gpu's and stuff. So since my Base Board is Orange i painted the Fans, i Cut out the base board holder from an old Case and painted it Black, i allso painted some tubes for the cables so it will be all matching , i was kinda lazy to sleeve the psu cables up, and allso took some white paper track and painted it orange so i can decorate the 6870 i had then to have orange lines as well :)

So here are the Pictures of the Little Modded CM 690 II Advanced Black and Orange project :

so after this build i was like , what the hell i'm tired of pulling up the GPU with all cables and stuff, so i went for the idea of making the Desk Bench and started working. I dont have the Pictures while working on it, but i have them of the final product:) in my album in the profile

my overall toughts about it are : if someone wants to make it go for it , coz not just it looks awsome , but it's allso doing good job. In my CM 690II i have 8 fans blowing on 12v to make preasure around my parts, and now i have them same temps with the fans on 5v coz i placed them in my order . + who else get's the feeling to put Beer on top his PC :)

i Hope this will inspire some folks there to think about modding, and be creative. For any info or more pic's at all feel free to ask i'll be glad to help .

mhm, looks fine tho, try to get softer tubing so u can strech and bend it around , but looks really clean and gives it a nice touch , i'll post some more Pic's of the cables in tubes in a min

Yeah the bending radius is quite big. But i am still overwhelmed by the idea of putting power cables in a water cooling tube :D I would have never every thought about that ^^

here are some more pics of that build with the tubing and painting

u can see from it how it looks closer, + the Sapphire 6870 is allso covered with orange paper tape on the lines so it will give that little extra touch :) , the tubes are cut in the middle as a straight line on them from behind and they are zip tied in the back so the cut line wont show up.
