Very nice work! What is it with these amazing extreme projects, it making me want one! 8)

Are they Thermaltake Thunderblades I spy there?

Nah just some cheapy blue led ones I picked up I was going to fill the case with them so I had to buy like 6 of them

Fatty where is the bulb of the TXV attached? Jst trying to figure it out but can't for the life of me see where it is.

Also are you using 25uF run caps on the comps? I have the same comps as you do and need to get some run caps for the babies ;) Don't need start caps do I aswell? Just getting the comps running is becoming a ball ache for me atm, and it's lookin expensive. Any pointers on where to get this stuff?

Cheers

Yeah the TEV bulb is located the same distance away from the H/X as the TEV is but its located on the discharge

Yeah you dont need to use start caps just run caps and depending on what refrigerant you are using you will need to drop in some r290 or change the oil, I changed the oil in both my compressors it aint cheap :)

Cheers Fatty great help :) Get that FX further dammit :P

I'll order up some 25uF run caps when I find somewhere selling them at a sensible price. I was asking about the TXV as I have a CPEV on the way and possibly a TXV aswell ;)

Cheers

very nice OC you got there fatty, not that far to go now mate to get the W/R which is 4101.98 MHz, go on your get there and more.

Well to add to my work log as I guess I am still working on my cascade I have added a high pressure switch and regassed the unit with r23......

Initial results are not that good about the same temps as I had with the C02/R507 blend, I think this is down to my heat exchanger :(

But in a few weeks or so I will have a plate heat exchanger thanks to Grey but until then I will try tune this a little better or even regass it back to 507/co2

Strange you say that about the hx as r23 will condense @ -30

So should be easier then the co2 mix on the hx

I to am moving to a plate for the first time not used one before might get a chance next week
