Definitely, got some amazing ideas for the backplates..
I'm not a big fan of military theme but you are sure making this one amazing.
Making me like something I don't really like overall isn't too easy, that said this looks great!

Hi everyone.. It's been one very busy week so not much to show in regards to results, but I have done some dipping..
Got a CPU block and a 240mm rad to fit in the bottom of the case, obviously they had to get a bit of love!! :loved:
First I had to do some masking to make sure I dont get the base coat everywhere..
My very tidy working area ..
A massive roll of hydrographic film..
Tools of the trade.
Measured and framed..
Had to get a larger dipping tank so I borrowed my sons toy box
Some aerosol activator..
Here you can see the film starting to dissolve from the activator..
The results!!

Hi..
It's called ATACS.. you the one I'm using which is AU and then you get one with a bit more green which is FG..
Before dipping you give the item a base coat, this will alse set the color tone, then the film acts as a second coat..
I apply a clear matte finish after dipping just to be sure... but I would say under good conditions that it pretty permanent..

ok my understanding is that ATACS is the print not the material. I guess what I'm asking is for a name for the product you used. And if ya have time you should do us up a guide for it, cause from what I see you have it down pretty good. I might just have to get back into some serious projects after my move.
