Project: Lian ReBorn

unreal

New member
Well the story of this little Lian-Li goes as follows,

He started life with a MSI K7N2 and a Barton 3000+ at his heart and through two long years of battle developed its little self into a DFI ultra-D with 3200+ winchester. Sadly his buddy, winchester decided to leave and the little case all alone. So he set about on a little quest to become reborn.

In those 2 long and faithful years the little case had become battle harded and here he is as rests.

The holes he has are from bullets which pierced his armour ;) Luckily for him they double up as extra holes for his life fluid - electricity to pass through.

lol! :)

What are your plans for it unreal? I have a thing for Lian-Li cases, especially naked ones ;)

Not much, was looking into watercooling but TBH its a little expensive for me right now. I love what marci did with a PA160 in one and I wanted to mimic it but... funds be funds I cant for now.

Currently deciding whether to bother sleeving it all - I know about 1 cable is on show after I have wired it - so just whether to sleeve it or sleeve em all!

As you may notice it has that akasa matting in it. Just also calculating whether to spend next 4 hours stripping it of it. Its like superglue to stuff they use to attach it!

I can never be bothered with sleaving lol, far too fiddly and boring for me.

Last time I sleeved my Tagan (brand new) - hit the pwr button to find it was a dead PSU. 2 hours down the drain! :(

Thought I might aswell show you guys the temporary hard drive mount!

Kinda cool huh! No worries about vibrations thats for sure!

Oh also! If you look at picture 1 you see the main thing I have been working on. All that sound dampening in the base of the case is gone! without a trace!

I'm deffo going to try that one soon

That elastic band mod works really well despite its ghettoness. Fortunately all the other components of my rig make more noise so i dont have to workk about such things lol.
