Project Gypsy Danger

That jig is a fantastic idea. Might have to perform my trademark steal and copy plan with that one.

Good looking build so far. I have never seen that EK block before for the GPU.

Nice jig and dog! :)

Curious to see how your card performs with that block + the small air heatsinks.

soon as i saw the thread title, i was like "yup, pacific rim"

OT: good looking rig right there! good job!

thanks!! hope you liked it

ok i love this build one question what is the front panel made of and how was it done if you dont mind me asking im in the middle of modding my 810

I don't particuarly like the GPU block, i think full cover blocks look a whole lot better, but therefor you have a damn sexy backplate.
Looks very clean.

Stunning work, but it feels like half of 2 different build logs crammed together so I'm a bit lost :D

How did you make your motherboard cover, and why did you decide to stop using it?
How did you rotate the motherboard 90 degrees in the Switch 810?
How did you make the custom front facia for the case?
When did you decide to drop the idea for Gypsy Danger, because the final product doesn't look anything like it

Still amazing work - very impressed.

Good, but I noticed a few small things...

The chr you based the design on is gun metal grey and has white lights and a small red stripe, yet your design is all white and red and black, what happened to the gun metal, and where are all the white spot lights? Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad looking design, but I don't immediately think of that chr. when I see it.

It's too bad the wire holes did not come out straight, did you think about making a jig to position the holes more accurately? And what do you do when your PSU quits?

Do you have a side cover to help keep the inside clean?

What happened to the MOBO 'armor'?

Did you make a top cover?

I'd like to see the finished product with side cover in place and from 3/4 front view, front, side, back and top view.
