Project - George Foreman

Some of you might have seen the other post I made about watercooling and Antec 180 http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=44075

Well I've started pulling bits together/chopping things up and generally making a right bloody mess. I've called the project George Foreman because most of the hardware going into it will be coming out of retirement for one last shot. Although I might give it to one of the kids once I've finished.
I got a P5K Premium from one of the guys here while I was waiting for one of the Asus ROG boards, and once I had used it for a week or so it got retired to the cupboard, but I've pulled it back out and done a custom water loop on it using the new DC-LT pumps and the dual bay res.
Ignore the garden hose for the minute, it won't make it to the final build, I'm just leak testing it for now.
The ally pipe between the NB/SB is obscuring the x16 PCI-e slot but the black slot is x16 mech x4 elec so hopefully I should be able to run a card in there. If not i'll have to think of a way of reworking the pipe.

I grabbed one of the Phobya Lite waterblocks as well, just to see how it stacked up against the raystorm and rasa. I'll post pics of my P180 hack work later on.

LOL, that tickled me, hope you don't end up cooking your parts. :rollinglaugh:

DG.

Update:-

I've ordered some more watercooling bits, which all turned up today so I've stripped the bottom out of the P180 and fitted a couple of 240 rads. It actually surprised me how nicely it fits.

I initially had 2 of the crossflow rads without thinking about flow but I couldn't (obviously now) get the ports facing each other so I've switched one out for a standard port rad I had kicking about.

What do you think?

Back in the chassis.

The front is filtered, and I have about 2" gap between the sets of fans. The bit i'm not looking forward to is cutting the grills in the side panels (steel/plastic).

Its looking nice dude, thought you were going to go topless for a minute till i scrolled down and saw the rest of the pictures

I really like the rad placement :D

Thanks when I first looked at the case I figured I could get a pair in there, just hosing up is going to be interesting. Should update tomorrow once the post has been delivered.
I need to get some decent jigsaw blades for cutting the side vents out, then got to decide on the grill type. The Scythe 1850's are nice and quiet though and seem to be pushing a good amount of air through them, I was a little worried due to the high fin count, but I think it'll work quite well.

Update
Got the hose and the fixings I needed to clear the fans. Built the Radiator base up.

Have riveted it back on to the chassis, just got to fit the motherboard and decide on the hose routing.

Final Update
Sorry it's taken so long I've actually been using the Rig but just managed to get some pictures.

Here it is, it's not bling at all but it does prove that watercooling is possible in a P180.

Not sure what I'm doing with it though.
