PROJECT DESIRE
Well here we go, this is my first work log and I plan for it to be a long one.
It all came about as I have recently quit smoking and needed something to keep my mind on so I thought to myself "what do I really enjoying doing" and the answer was creating things that are one offs not like anything else.
I love my current PC but it really was start to get old and I thought to myself you know what I can build a full custom PC, so off I went search the internet far and wide and getting as much information as humanly possible which I worked out still was not enough but I get the main points down and picked the gear I wanted, below is a list of what I have purchased.
First thing I purchased was a digital SLR, if I was going to make a work log I really wanted the pictures to look as best they could.
Case: Corsair 900D
Motherboard: Asus maximus vi extreme
CPU: 4770k
RAM: Corsair dominator 16gb
GPU: still making up my mind
PSU: Corsair AX860
SDD: 2x Samsung 840 Evo 250GB

So that is where I started but then I found bit-tech and spent hours going though ever work log there was and there were some amazing builds, then I found MDPC and sleeve will be ordered once I make up my mind what I want, then I wanted to watercool the new computer so off I went search the web for information. I have only purchased a couple of the watercooling items and the rest will be purchased as I go I will be using acrylic tubing I know that for sure as I love the look. I also got a MDPC crimp tool of a mate and as soon as I find 18 AWG wire in Australia I will be making custom length cables.
Well that is the start to this little project and to quit the smokes for good.

Lets just stay I got alot of work to do before my photos are as good as they should be but I am having a great time learning.

Well first think I did was install the Power supply and wow the case just eats it, have a look for yourself.

So I thought I would try take some better pictures of the motherboard and here they are as followed let me know if you think these are getting a little better.

Well I am off to finish installing the rest of the gear and order my MDPC sleeve.
