What wheels are you guys using?
Would love a race seat and a VR headset. Don't have the space or the money

Seems controllers are pretty competitive - I guess being a console title means they really nailed the car control down nicely.
I use a G29 and a desk which is relatively cheap, however the bug has bitten and when I move into my new place I'll get a proper rig. Either an 80/20 aluminium set up or something like the Next Level GT Ultimate or RSeat. They're not super cheap though.
Ideally it would be something I can mount my HOTAS and Rudder pedals to as well for flight sims and Elite: Dangerous. I think swapping the pedals may be a PITA though. Maybe I'll end up with two rigs.
As far as wheels and pedals go I'm happy with my G29 (for the price) but it's like anything. There's always one better for just a little more money and before you know it you've gone from the equivalent of a sensible GTX 1060 to a 1080ti
I'm also keen to try VR however I'm pretty susceptible to headaches so I think I'll wait another generation. Triple monitors are awesome but if space is a premium you're better off with an ultrawide. I'd happily go to a single 34" for racing/flight sims and get a Track IR or similar.

Its not because of the title. Think of it, on a controller you kan go a full wheel rotation i a split sekund by moving a nob 1cm. And when you have played enough the small adjustment gets better.
I would like a wheel, just because its more real. And not at a desk, i want a popper seat

Yeah once you add a DBOX the price goes through the roof. Motion is awesome but there are cheaper ways to do it. I'd be happy with a basic seat/pedal/wheel deck so you can get those under $1000 USD quite easily.

Although I can't even start at the same pace as the #1's ghost. Feels like they go past me about 20kmh faster at the start line. Half a second down by first corner.
Alot of the old ghosts should be removed. PC made some radical changes over time which in turn made cars more realistic e.g. slower than they were at the beginning of release.
Plus the fact I really REALLY hate this glitch of cheesing corners to cut tracks. I was racing someone the other day and they did it without getting a penalty. Completely cut the corner by taking the narrow road that cut right across. He fooled the game into thinking he made an effort to brake.

Honestly don't see why anyone would want to. Sadly there are some online that are purely win at all costs including cheating.
Bring on PC2!!!
I really would have loved to create proper racing teams with friends. Almost like a "club" but well smaller number of cars per team.
