Too late on the storage side unfortunately, there can't be that much difference between the two surely? and I'm not too bothered as it's not my OS or main game drive

Thermal Paste wise, the zalman is a lot easier to use as it uses a brush rather than having to try and get the right amount and I believe temperature wise it's not far off the MX stuff though I might be wrong

I realised that I don't need the memory cooler after I received it, but hey can't hurt to have a bit of ram cooling

Thanks for the comments though

really appreciated. Does everything else seem fine though? and that is everything I need right? EDIT: oh and for raid do you have to have identical HD's or can I for instance have one Samsung and One WD?

Sammy F3's are a tad faster but you wont notice it if you're only using it for storage.

Having used that zalman stuff I can honestly say get MX-3/MX-4 or something decent. MX-3 knocked 3 degrees off my cpu temps compared to Zalman.
