Thanks dude, Marcus has been a star running around chasing people to get this done and doing the mod work on the case as has been written about in previous posts, I just want to get this thing together now and make that cpu sweat abit!
Has taken much longer than expected due to various reasons, one being the fact that we ended up laser cutting some custom rad grills and then had to wait for them to be anodised along with some extra bits being powder coated.
So continuing where I left off....
2mm Aluminum 360mm radiator grills.. DONE!
Custom grills anodised to match the case:
Green grills at last!
Couple of Fill Ports to also match:
A couple of nice shots showing off the colour:
Now I do have more pictures but Tom has asked me not to post anymore until he has the item complete... sorry
Ah c'mon tiny...stop being a wuss and let us see some more pics. Nice update anyway Marcus, thank you The green and black contrast looks bloody slick imo :worship::yumyum:
I don't see that the case is buggered. Why can't you just trim back the protruding edges at the top of the case to be flush with the rad grills? Any half competent case modder would stick a dremel or hand file to that & have it sorted in minutes. If the edges were cut back too far you might be concerned, but you've still got plenty of material to work with there.
As for the blotchy/scratched anodised finish, i'm sure if you explain the situation to Marcus000 he'll help you out.
THE RAD TABS DONT FIT so it would need a new roof.
If you remove the anodising it will leave the base metal a darker shade so you wont match a new panel and an old panel colour wise (straight from anodisers mouth)
trust me mate the case is fecked. Only way to sort it is to powder it.
Plus Ive not waited 4months to have this delivered.
Id be embarassed to have sent this out and tbh I think its an insult.
Ive thought about posting these for ages and tbh I dont see why I should let you all know how angry and dissapointed I am after spending £600+ and waiting 4 months, then that turned up.
Even the acrylic windows look like they had been cut with a circular saw.
unlucky, that was a relly nice case:yumyum:, shame about the dodgy job on it but personally i think its not to bad, but thats coming from someone who has only ever owned dell cases

Dont let this stop you. We have all had some strange and unwanted hiccups with our comps and cases, but we have all perserveared (pardon mein spelling) and got some stunning results.
and keep going for it. Personally, id send as much of it back as i could , check your returns policy etc, see what can be done. Im sure the companies and people who helped originally will be to give you some assistance and maybe offer to put things right. You never know until you ask.
