Problem with Router

Hey guys,
I would like to ask, did you ever had problems with your routers overheating? My router gets so hot that I could fry an egg on it. Could that be causing problems with my speeds?
Problem is that I can't get a quality wireless router from a reliable maker because I'm on a VoiP line and my ISP only uses VoiP routers in greece. the maker of the routers is intracom (owns ISP) and other voip routers are hard to find in greece or quite expensive (250euros+)

So, yeah, can overheating cause serious problems?

Routers can commonly get quite hot. Just leave it in a place with enough airflow. If you are really worried set up a 120mm fan next to it. It really shouldn't be a problem though.

Yeah my Fibre Modem and router get quite hot, even more so this time of the year.
