Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Yeah I love them. Other one is a PRS Tremonti

Some die hard fps gamers still prefer CRT over 144hz for obvious reasons.

I have noticed alot of crap bugs (especially skyrim and AC3/4) where games bug out over 60hz. E.g. furniture in houses bouncing like pinball endless or horse and carriage in AC3 disappearing or getting pathing issues.

I still won't go back to 60hz since im more FPS and racing sim preferred anyway.

CRT has 0 input delay and they are cheap as fuck. Pretty great.
I don't think those issues are related to 144hz, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Must be the high framerate.

Yes I think its the framerate that causes those issues to go crazy. I have 780SLI running so theres some power to use in skyrim when playing it.

And you can overclock the pants off CRTs, they love it

dat flicker though...

I'm extremo sensitive to flickering stuff, can't even look at some mercury based energy saving lights because of it, LED's are a big one in things like traffic lights. My eyes freak out.

The high refresh ones aren't that bad. Still terrible for the eyes though, i'll stick to my monitor.

i bought a second hand one of these

its a haf 922 (the one i got has a accrylic side window "i think" seems to say it did with the description.

i would have preferred the 932 but was to expensive even second hand. it should give me the mounting options i need for my water cooling though.
the trendsonic wizard case just isnt doing it.

Time to mess around with the polling rate. Apparently it's the best mouse for FPS gaming, no negative accel, accurate as fuck, better than any gaming mouse.

Been building furniture for the office room. Ah, the joys of flatpack...

... is there any?

Linnmon x1, Malcolm x2 and two versions of Erik - gotta love Ikea's naming scheme.

You need to tweak some things but then it is amazing. One of the most popular mice in quake.

If i was going to choose between the mouse we have in school and my gigabyte laser mouse, I would definitely 100% choose my mouse.

You will see how crap the microsoft mouse it. remember my words. my cheapo gigabyte mouse feels so much better in hand

edit: i turned off mouse acceleration but it takes me like 3 tries to click on the edit button, im used to acceleration

I doubt you installed any accell fix drivers nor overclocked the USB polling rate, hence your experience was crap.
I have a rival, a sensei raw and G9x, it's not like i have no backup plan. If Quake pros refuse to move on from those things they can't be bad.

Chances are that the mouse you're talking about is a completely different beast. Presumably the black one comes as part of a kit with a microsoft keyboard kit whereas the white one is something you buy as a standalone.

I am pretty sure the mouse is awful without some tweaks and a proper mousepad. Maybe he is a high DPI person, who knows. I'm currently running 400dpi on my rival, which is the same as the WMO, so that won't bother me. If the sensor is more accurate then i will be glad to have one, looks mean nothing to me when it comes to peripherals.

I use my mouse on 400 dpi i think.

Anyway im tweaking my mouse now. I set the DIP on the mouse to 800, and lowered the sensitivity in windows and disabled acceleration. now im modding the pooling rate. The mouse is gigabyte m6880 with steelseries qck mini mousepad

You should leave the windows sens at 6. If you lower it too much it starts spazzing.
