Possible gt problems

got the gt at the weekend from warlord shigs every thing works fine, apart from it wont boot till it reaches -60 got the 1.23 software installed plus the 1.24 update and have set the boot temp in that. my only pc so i dont have the option of using a second pc to do the firmware thing (unless u count wifeys laptop).

any help or ideas needed

What did u set it to in the software..?

and it still only boots @ -60?

when i installed the software it was set to -33 so i left it at that

Have you checked it again since upgrading to 1.24..?

tbh i dont see why u would need to update the firmware cos i think it was only ment for the XP sytems having boot probs... but then again it would do no harm..

AFAIK the firmware was updated to display "Mach II GT" on the display and to fix the FX startup problem - the software (1.23) runs the fans at approx 1400rpm and 1.24 runs the fans @ 1800rpm or thereabouts by default. You should use the 1.24 software with the GT and regassed Mach II's.

like the idiot when i saw the software had set it to 32 c i thought that was that so i changed it to 34c powered down and lo and behold well i wont say what happened

so i well and truly deserve the pleb of the week title
