Hi Guys,

My antivirus keeps popping up saying that a port scan has been detected and the attempt has been blocked (bitdefender 2013 and I'm running windows 8). My internet has sempt to be suffering since I have noticed this pop up, I cant watch youtube videos and pages take forever to load. However I just did a speed test and it was showing 2.4MBps somehow I find that hard to believe. Any ideas?

check windows firewall to see if there are any unrecognised apps allowed through it

it seems like a problem i have frequently, sometimes windows firewall craps out and i can't load pages quickly, at all. i just restart. see if you can access windows firewall first to see if you can change some settings. i can't even get near windows firewall when it happens to me.

Yeah it was actually bitdefender the port that it uses to update. Windows firewall had blocked it! silly microsoft thanks guys =D
