PMP 500 getting hot

I have been running my Koolance PMP 500 for about half an hour, but it is getting very hot, that is then passing the heat to the res and hose. The pump it self is hitting 57, the res 43 and the hose is 45. I have tested the temps using a digital infra red thermometer. Is this normal for a pump to get that hot ? I have it set up in a simple loop, with the pump and res only connected, running though a Coolermaster GX 550 psu, using the paper clip trick.

hes got another thread posted as well with foam/froth in the lines and res.
you have monster air trapped and air is not able to cool the pump. the coolant,
like radiators pulls the heat out and with so much air in the coolant, the efficiency
is blown and it cannot cool it.

This. Why are you even running it without a rad??
It was only for a matter of mins to to test the pump. I did realise the heat was because of no rad straight after posting. I had a blonde moment for a second there. The bubbles and froth settled within mins. It's a shame really as it made a great color yellow, almost like orange juice. Cheers guys
