PC keeps getting BSODs.

Hi there OC3D!
I'm getting a bit worried about my system.
I've OC'd it to 2GHz a while back, and it ran OCCT for 6 hours without any problems. Stopped the test then. Ran fine for a while, but now I got some BSODs. Kept clocking back untill I was back at my original OC which was 1.82GHz. I ran that OC for 6 months without any problems.
Well, it ran fine. For 30 minutes. Then: BSOD.
So now I am at stock, and it's running, but again: for now.
Any help? Is my system finally giving up on me?
I hope not... No money for a new one...
Greetings from a quite sad Ninja.

update/
yet another bsod... at stock clocks and voltage. I'll keep my camera ready so I can make a pic of when this happens. Maybe it contains info on the crash.

Yeah it's c:\windows\minidumps, what I would suggest is to system restore to before the problems to see if it is a software issue

I have the .dmp file!
Also, I don't think I made a backup :(
I can re-install windows though!
Anyway, I can't seem to upload the file. It says I need administration rights to upload it. And I am the admin...

I would take a photo of the bsod screen then run the code through Google.

That usually gives you a rough idea of what's failing.

After some research, it's either a RAM failure or I need a service pack. If it's a RAM issue, I'll have to give up on my trusty rig. DDR ram is more expensive than the total value of my rig.
Though a service pack will probably fix it.
Thanks for the help guys! Cheers!

i hope it fixes it, if not, a good reason to upgrade! well, there is always some stupid reason to upgrade. it's a beautiful day isn't it? let's celebrate by upgrading from a 3960x to a 3970x.

If it doesn't fix it, I won't have a PC for the next few months :S
Damn money D:<

oh. well then get the defibrillator out! it sucks to not have an income like a lot of the other guys on here and not being able to waste 1/2 of it on new parts, but still i never felt like i wasn't able to scratch a good amount of money together. i don't even know where it comes from, when i add everything i can think of together i am still a couple 100€ under what i have.

Thanks dude :p
Might as well plug in a harddrive when it's running in a certain way so my PSU will blow. Tell my parents that ot just happened when playing minecraft :p
