Parvum S2.5 thoughts and what 120mm fans?

Hey all,

So I've been looking at a Parvum S2.5 case for my mATX build as I really like the look of them but I wanted to know if any of you had any experience with one.

I've watched Tom's review and am still umming and ahhing about it. Do you think I can achieve sufficient cooling for a small build with this case and if so what are THE 120mm fans for airflow nowadays that offer that good contrast between performance and noise?

I'm also looking to replace the 120mm on my Corsair H100iGTX coz they are NOISY AS HELL!!! so if anyone has any advice on these that'd be amazing.

Cheers!

Will

Fractal venturi, vadars, corsair sp quiet editions. I'm also a fan of the cooler master jet flow and sickle flows too. Money no object look at the noctua ranges too.

Nice one Wraith. I assume these are for the H100 right?

Thanks

Sure are bud, I've used the 120mm venturi from fractal and there not 100% silent but damn they still move a lot of air at reduced speed.

Noctua iPPC's For everything.
Cheapskate like me? Noctua Redux for airflow and Noiseblocker black silent pros on your rad. /case closed/

It doesn't matter what fans you have they solely have to be silent.

So you would suggest the industrial Noctuas for the front and noiseblocker or varders etc. for the rad?

Now here's something I can never figure out. should I have pull coming from the rad or pushing out from under the rad if the front fans are my intake. I see both methods used

Industrial can be used everywhere. The second method with the redux and noiseblockers is a alternative to the Industrials.

About push or pull, doesnt matter, again. I had my fans running pull for a while, now I changed it to push because I thought I'd get a bit better temps, but nah m8.

So are they good for Static Pressure and air flow. If I have these plugged into the h100 won't it sound like a jet engine taking off?

If you do that yous just search for trouble...
Hook them up to the mobo and run them at 700rpm or whatever and have fun.

Yes they would be and NOT recommended for radiators, If you want noctuas for radiators you should consider the NF-F12 fans. The industrials are not really suited for normal PC usage, at 3000rpm you'd have to be mental.

get the 24V version for the same money and run them at 12V
Oh snap you have a 1500rpm fan. Wann have it even more silent? turn it down to 50% PWM and wahoo you got a 750RPM Fan.

Unless you have a spastic motherboard it's really simple.

Ok so another question regarding fans for the H100

If i'm using the fans as Pull above the radiator extracting air out of the case will I still see a benefit in High Static pressure fans or is that benefit only seen when running a push or push pull config?

Still wanting any feedback on the Parvum S2.5 if anyone's got any?

Cheers!
