When i first built my comp, the cpu temp wouldnt go over 32c and thats when i play my online game, and lately its been goin up, i just started to play my game and my alarm went off becuz it reached 46c, what the hell is the deal, same way w/my video card, that wouldnt go over 52c, now its up to 59c,, i need some help asap??

thnx

could be dust cloggin and preventing airflow or if u moved the pc heatsinks loosening or internal cable arrangement changing, to isolate the problem think was there and activitys u carried out concerning the computer b4 the temps went up (eg moving or instalin a new disk drive etc)

the only thing ive done lately is put a rounded cable on the hdd, ive made sure nothing is blockin the cpu heatsink. thatst the only thing ive done since i built it.

a round cable could have lowered temperatures which makes me think that it could be a loosened HS/F, Dust or maybe u unplugged a case fan by accident ;

dust can cause major problems with overheatin, to isolate if the problem is with the HSf or airflow take the side off your case and run the system like this if temps drop to near (less) to what they were before than the problem is not with ur HSF but airlow (get dusting/check fans/cables arrangement) but if temps still do not drop to close to what they where there is a problem with the mounting of ur HSF;

have u recently overclocked/raised Vcore of ne of ur systems components?

nah, its all stock, no tweaking of any sorts, i just cleaned the inside of the case out too, so ill see if that help, but wasnt that dirty in there

did u run without ur side of case cause if that doesnt lower temps to previous then remount ur Heatsink/Fan

w00t or a co2 fire extinguisher (every time i have canned air i use to to blow stuff about and waste it)

I love air in a can.... so goooood. Turnin' it upside down and freezin' shit is tight. Find a bug to freeze with it, it's dope!

ya i took side of case off, played my game and it still got up to forty, but when i touch the hsf its not even warm feels like the psu isnt even heatin up its so cool, and i only played for like 15 min and it was up to 40,whos knows when i decide to play it all nite on how hot it will get

40 and it usata be @ 32 durin game play... remount the hsf (use as5)

btw never touch any internal components while ur pc is running believe it as static is a killer
