Hi all, Ok im after some links on overclocking basics to begin with anything as i have done very little. I will soon be recieving my 7800 dd blocks and im hoping santa will be dropping a asus a8n32-sli deluxe off for me lol:whistle: . I have done as i said very little on the overclocking side. I have researched a bit but im after something which will hopefully give me a good read maybe in depth? Im also getting into 3dmark any advice? My dell xps laptop gave around 5300 lol but im hoping my fx-55 and my 7800gtxs in sli will give me some nice results!! All help and advice is appreciated as i am keen to learn the way of the jedis (Mav) lol.

Cheers

Hi mate, the best bit of advise I can give you when starting out is read as much as pos then read some more, also take things slow with minor adjustments despite how tedious it may seem. I could go into details and tell you how but many poeple have done it also. Here are a few links but there must be loads if you search google.

The stock coolers should be easy to remove, may be screwed on or the annoying pins that open out with springs on.

As for mounting the DD blocks, DD normally has inscructions on their site on how to fit their blocks. If not I may be able to talk you through it having installed DD TEC blocks on my X800XTPE in the past.
