They are pretty decent, the Audigy chips produced a nice sound back in the day. Not as good as my essence STX, but not bad.
I like Vaio's, did try getting a pearl white one on the bay, with all this gucci gold trim but he declined my offer 
I eneded up with a Compaq Presario V6000 for £230 delivered, got 7 on it now and Im well happy, Ive got the Turion 1.9ghz X2 1600fsb model.
Not as bling as your Vaio but for me on a budget Im happy

You've also got your main pc though, where as I've just cleared all my pc stuff off the desk. It's a sad day, but I need the lappy for school work and can't be doing with 2 pc's and a 360.
Ok, some pictures as promised.
I've still got a few things I need to buy, most notably a bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth audio reciever (I can connect my iPhone and laptop to my speakers through bluetooth, and therefore listen and be portable).
What do you think? I really really like it, the build quality is top notch.

I hope that's not the ac power in the front. That's either gonna annoy and/or break.
If it is, get a dock. I got a spare one in work, but it's ownership is questionable.

Not sure, dock I have in stores has a sit-in thing with speakers, ports, etc. Has an rf input too ?!! Could be for different models.
If u'rs does a dock, it'll have a rectangular port underneath. They seem to keep it in same place, just change the size.

Apple actually copied sony on the keyboard
I will admit that macbooks do look nicer, but they also cost a ridiculous amount of money for the hardware on offer.
Youtube video? I may do a review, see how things pan out.
