Orca

sooo Tom.. got an update on your tribute build ORCA?
from FB you were having a "coloring" issue in your water-bits. know you are real
busy with reviews and such, got any subby news and ORCA?

The coolant is fooked, its brown now.

Also its apparently my fault. Im going to be moving to XSPC blood red coolant and Ill bet you any money I dont have any issues with it.......

So how the bloody hell is it your fault that the coolant has gone brown.... what did you do take a dump in the reservoir or something? I've had nothing to do with water cooling but even I can see that it can't be your fault for a colour change and whomever recons that it is so have been smoking something I think.

Orca with some "real blood" flowing through her will be sooo neat :) Crystal links and acrylic tubes maybe? Timeframe for the rebuild by any chance?

No time frame atm, I basically have to strip the whole thing again and tbf I cbfa atm to spend 2 days just to change the coolant.

I seen your pictures on fb and the coolant looks really bad.
I'm using black pastel as well but I have no problems with is( it 2months in system now), and the color still looks good.
But I will be changing color of the coolant anyway, as I want to have blue accents in my rig, as black and white looks really plain now:) But I will be not using pastel, anymore, I want to go back to normal fluid, that I can see bubbles in.

Blood red should look good in your system:)

TBF the bottle of left over coolant is still black, its just a pitFa that its so sensitive. I flushed everything before fitting. Its actually a real shame but he seems to be changing and updating colours because of issues all the time.

Just makes me think that theres not as much testing done as advertised.

If I drop my black coolant on paper towel it will go dark green:)
Some people was saying that is your fault, that coolant went brown, as your temps are to high due to bad positioning of your CPU water block, but I personally I think that this is bullshi* , cus it will not make more difference in temps than 1/2 degrees. Also coolant should be working properly ,according to label up to 95 degrees.
Why would it take you 2 days, I thought about 1day max?

I might have read it wrong but are you looking to rebuild Orca from scratch Tom?? Or just make a new build to take its place?

If the cogs are turning after the 750D I think you should start a new build! :D Maybe stick with the nautical theme and tie it in with Orca?? Kind of like a sister build.
