Hi, Everything about your "Orca" build is absolutely awesome. I love the colour scheme etc. & the overall appearance is spectacular. One thing I thought is have you not considered using backplates for your GPU's. Hope the tubing comes soon as i can't wait to see it finished & how your lighting will work. AWESOME VIDEO AS ALWAYS
IMHO..................finished it will be a fantastic tribute and an epic rig! Love the little details that in the end will make such a big difference!! The Red spacers, the place of the SSD´s lined with the gril´s of the left panel......etc,etc!!
Nice Job Tom!
Mate She's really starting to look PUKKA now, guess the 3970x performed better huh! It's really an extremely fitting tribute and I think your mum would be very proud of all you have done and achieved. Can't wait to see the end result all fired up in the new pride of place.
Hey Tom , Orca is looking quite nice , I can't wait to see it done and completed.. The detail you've put in to it is amazing , it's a very nice tribute to your mom . I'm still waiting to see the tribute badge .
I have a question about the fans your using , I know your using the Corsair SP quiet edition on the radiators , what fan are you using in the back? AF quiet or high performance?
ORCA is looking really sweet there TTL.
Why no gpu backplates? Not that the naked pcb looks bad or anything. Just saying...
Shame about that delay with the nicotine stain hose... Lol.
Keep rockin!
I share Toms liking for clean looks, there is no 'fat' on this build, everything that should be there IS there.
Acrylic tube would be a nice future update Tom,although the piping route you have planned now is very clean as it is.
Methodology, execution and planning....all present and accounted for.
Hose delayed things, I was hopng to have it done this weekend to coincide with some other news but I get Ill just take my time again and announce things all at once!
Hi, I've been watching you design and build your rig and I noticed in one of your videos you weren't sure what sata cables to use for your ssd's and this made me think of some that I knew i had lying around that I thought would go really will with the build. Sorry the pictures aren't the best, they were take with my phone.
Obviously they are asus cables so with your contacts I'm sure you could get some.
