Online Sound Issue

G'day Everyone got a strange issue I can't seem to work out, when I'm watching anything online, whether it's Youtube or such like I have almost no sound when everything is turned up normal yet if I watch a movie on power dvd or listen to music through media player my sound is perfect, anyone got any ideas as to what it may be? Sorry also should have added my browser is Firefox.

Thanks for the reply the problem isn't in any of the sound devices I checked that but I just tried copying a link to another browser and the sound is perfect so it seems to me it's a problem with firefox, I will have to backup all my bookmarks and try re-installing it and hope that works.

Just managed to fix it it was an issue with flash player some how it updated with the volume turned down, bloody weird but anyways all good now

In the notifications area, do you have a volume control? if so, click on 'mixer' you should see this (image attached)

Is firefox on the list, and if so, is it turned down...

Thanks I managed to fix it Firefox is in the list and it is up full but you need to play a video then turn up the sound in Adobe Flash Player so all good and thanks for the help everyone
