Overclock3D get up close and personal with the new Scythe Kama Thermo (Wireless) infra-red digital thermometer to see how it differs from the original Kama Thermo.

I dont really like the idea that you have to point it at the thing you would like to measure the temperature of. I would still buy the old one over the new one because of three reasons;

- Size.

- Ability to mod it into your case.

- (Probably) More accurate temperature readings.

Good review though, and a good idea of a product. Reps for you! :)
 
Yeah I agree. The older wired version had a lot more uses as far as measuring temps within your chassis, and the older Kama Thermo was able to be installed relatively easily. The new wireless version does away with all that and merely becomes a hand held digital thermometer. Thanks for the feedback :)
 
Good review mate. I've got an Infrared thermo at home that I paid quite a few quid for but tbh its cr@p. Type of surface and distance from it totally skews the results. Wired ftw!
